Should Business Owners Create Systems themselves?
What is better and faster way to creating systems
Do you think you, as a business owner, need to create systems and document SOPs yourself?
You can watch it in video if you are interested
Many business owners believe they need to create systems themselves.
This belief often holds business owners back from building scalable systems.
As business owners, we already have a never-ending to-do list—so adding “create systems” as another task doesn’t make sense.
But here’s the good news: As business owners, I don’t recommend you to document SOPs yourself!
Here’s how to do it the smart way:
1️⃣ Identify the team members who are already doing the work and ask them to document the process.
2️⃣ Once they draft the SOP, review their first version and provide feedback to refine it.
3️⃣ After making improvements, give this updated version to a new team member and ask them to review it for clarity.
4️⃣ Incorporate their feedback, finalize the SOP, and you now have a scalable system in place!
If you’re a solopreneur, then yes, you’ll need to document SOPs yourself—but once you grow your team, you can follow this same process to delegate effectively.
